Stephen Semprevivo served as President, General Manager, and COO of Machinima. Semprevivo was responsible for running day-to-day operations across the organization and is the executive leader for all operations at Machinima, including overseeing Machinima’s network of 20,000 talent partners, global marketing and ad sales operations, talent based programming and branded entertainment, digital distribution, product development and technology. Additionally, He initiated and oversaw complete restructuring and realignment of company resulting in company transitioning from an annual loss to a break-even plan. During his tenure, Machinima was acquired by Warner Brothers. In 2017 Semprevivo left Machinima to join Cydcor as the company’s Chief Strategy & Growth Officer. Prior to his role at Machinima, Semprevivo was President of Experian Interactive Media . He has also served on nine venture and private equity backed boards as Board Director.
Machinima was the dominant video entertainment network targeting young males around the world. Serving more than 2.4 billion monthly video views and reaching over 200 million uniques each month, Machinima was one of the top entertainment networks on YouTube with strong presence across other social media and OTT platforms. The Machinima network featured scripted series, original content, weekly and daily shows, official publisher content, and gameplay.
Machinima has had a rough year, as plans to bring on more funding have fallen through and the company has gone through a series of layoffs. But as it faces that and a shakeup of its senior management team, the YouTube gaming network has hired an executive to help manage operations and get things back on track.
