New Economics for Women
New Economics for Women (NEW) is a Los Angeles based nonprofit. NEW shifts mindsets for financial resiliency, to prevent homelessness, and to build wealth through homeownership, entrepreneurship, and education. Because economic opportunity and upward mobility are the foundation of the American Dream, NEW believes women are at the core of making this dream happen. As we all seek economic justice, it is critical that we all make decisions and be informed in order to ensure a better world for the next generations.
Stephen Semprevivo is a proud supporter of New Economics for Women’s innovative approach. Semprevivo actively supports the organization as he regularly seeks out opportunities to support causes in the areas of homelessness and economic mobility. He is also well-known for his business mentoring services.
Volunteers of America Los Angeles
Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) was founded
on the core belief in the potential of every person no matter the circumstance. Homelessness is a significant national issue that VOALA focuses on. California has the highest number in the country – Los Angeles County homeless exceeds 60,000.
Constructing Careers which is part of Volunteers of America Los Angeles was created to address the key drivers of homelessness with a unique solution. The program combines training of at-risk youth and Veterans with building affordable housing to help stem the tide of homelessness our community is seeing.
Stephen Semprevivo has been an active member of the team devising Constructing Career’s core strategy and communications plan and has become one of the best business mentors for startups.
